I sowed a seed into our specially treated soil and within a minute it grown up and took one foot height and approximately after one hour one adult tree appeared and gave us mangos.
Everyone there were clapping and cheering for me, except one and who else then him, that eagle faced and donkey minded my BOSS. Who don’t know much about the soil science and botany but always interfere as an expert. He came to me and said, “Ravit you are not done, fruits is not as sweet as it should be, our competitor speed is same as us but with good fruit test, and we need to do better and to know more about it, we are moving to our time machine plan. I promise government of the fastest speed with great test".
Boss was willing to take government contract of implementing a very fast forest for the new human made planet and he thought that by getting this contract he could get his chance in the next election.
He want to research a place but we had to go 300 years ago for this , where a special kind of trees grown very fast without any help , due to shortfall of technology scientist of that time were not able to find out reasons behind this.
And With the help of this invention government want to fulfill their last election manifesto of providing earth people a new and low human density place to live.
As per my boss order, we reached at 28°.36'37.37° N, 77°.13'54.71" E, 2000 meters down from the sea level, where world’s only time machine was placed. Boss had very good relations with government that’s why he got this change. Any way we were in a big and bright caparisoned hall crimped advanced technology of 25th century.
We found one oval shaped, transparent and around the size of a mini space bus thing was there in front of us, an amazing thing, The Time Machine. For a moment my mind already traveled all the time that this earth history had.
My boss took me back via called me out,"Ravit we need to go through the mind scan, come." Then we proceed to an intelligent human body scanner which was going to scan our mind regarding time travel and insures that we were not going to harm the past. I stood in front of that machine, a light spotted on my face one virtual figure of mine mind set appeared on screen which displayed 75%.
"What this mean?" .I asked to observer.
"For time travel 75% is minimum required score, and now your travel will decide by our committee "observer replied.
"And my boss scored?" I asked.
"94%" My boss voice coming from back, I turned and he continued.
"My worry was right about your score, and thank god at lest you score minimum",
"You week Heart People, Let’s see what can I do for you"
He went to meet member of committee , I just thought why government don’t use it for human well being as in earthquakes, floods and so on natural disaster via minimizing damage using time travel. Its first time when my boss was right that I am week hearted. Government is not emotional fool to change the past in any way, because by changing past they could affect their present, I concluded.
"You can travel, but for this I have to pay a large amount to the committee" Boss said rudely.
We entered into time machine, but only seats were there not any machine controller.
I surprisingly said "How to drive this."
"Artificial Intelligence, we just need to tell machine where we want to go. Take this watch to control it, if you lost it you will not come back from past" Boss said proudly like one of his ancestor invented the time machine.
Boss said "18 March 2215 at 22°.17'49.48" N, 89°.34'01".52 E , 07:00AM, Sunderban" and the time machine started Silently .Countdown was displayed in my watch 59:00:00 58:00:00 and so on. Suddenly one person shouted form outside the machine and told to Boss, "Your wife is in hospital and having complication with her delivery they need to bring her in major operation". Doors of time machine were about to close and Boss went up with a terrific fear on his face. I know he love his wife more than anything in the world, she was one of the most beautiful woman in the world. This news also made me worried because in deep of my heart there was a place for her, I love her too. This was also a reason that I hate my Boss.
"I can't come, you have to do this alone." He was shivering
"What, you are leaving me, I am not going alone." I shouted.
"Look we can't cancel it now, I invested lots of amount for this time travel and also we don't have much time for completing this Germination project, you are doing this." He ordered now.
Time is about 20 seconds left and he was ready to escape this travel. And I were thinking that how much I hate him, he have everything which I wanted but with less qualities than me, and now he is going to have baby form my love, he just usufruct of the seeds sowed by his ancestor. One well-established pedigree member, who is here just because of his family background, was leaving me alone with this mysterious time travel. I observed him carefully as he walked to the door. I knew that time was running out but suppressed the urge to check my watch. I took a deep breath and started counting in reverse under my breath. "Ten, nine, eight, and seven... Door of Time machine are now closed and outside the machine Boss is giving me thumbs up ,oh my god it's two, one ,zero. Then time machine is nowhere in the world now and a full black was outside the time machine , deep dark and nothing was there , Where am I , Is this the place of God , for controlling all the times and universes . In addition, suddenly I got a shock and time machine was started falling consciously in that endless darkness like a lift, which is falling without a hitch. Time machine screen and my watch was now showing -1 , -2 ,-3 ,-4 ,-5 ,-6,-7 and one notice was coming in side of the screen that "-1 = 10 years in past".
Before the time machine took me to the given time my mind already reached at the most difficult time in human's history, where population of world was overloaded, and resources of energy like coal, petroleum were ended. Starvation, pollution everywhere, not any country in the earth was able to recover this, then new formation of earth were invented where all the countries compiled and the whole world were started ruling by one single government.
-22, -23 screen displays attracted my mind, -27,-28, -29, -30 and light came into my eyes it felt like really after 300 years I saw the sun. Time machine landed me in one of the very few left jungles of that time and I can hear the voice of some animals this is not used to for the person who came from 2515. I took and wear the important gadget and jumped out from the time machine and my search started for the fastest growing trees of world till that time.
I was searching in jungle and after the hard work of 5 hours I found nothing , Sadly I return back to the Time Machine and observed that the time machine were surround by some little plants, Which was not there when I came here. I could see their growing, ohh yes I found it I jumped like a excited child and took the clay sample and try to pull out one plant , but it did not coming out, I tried with all my power and fall down but that plant did not coming out . Then I dig all the clay to the root of that plant .There was one strange thing, one more branch is coming out from the root and going in the ground, I follow that branch by digging off mud and what, Is this magic? Another root connected with that branch, and from the second root there were also one extra branch going out, my god they are connecting inside the ground with ring topology and after that I looked up, saw natures miracle, hundreds of that kind of plants are there, and all are growing very fast.
After 2 days, the mature trees with sweet fruits replaced all the plants, and suddenly they stopped growing. "What is going on?" I thought and then my mind strikes and I went for that extra branch which connected all the trees, It were cut and shriveling. I understand that the pollution effects on mud were went out in a very positive way for these trees to grow that fast without any technology. And the Extra branch is like the family bond of those trees, which connects the entire member from small to large and gave the small plant benefits of the big trees.
Now I could not took any tree with me, So I took as much samples as I can and now I have to go it's too late but what "Where is my watch"," No I could not lose it" I run and started searching all the places of the Jungle where I had been, I felt like a small child who locked up himself in bathroom.
In search of that watch I left the Jungle and came near to the human township , one 10 to 12 year boy where playing with my watch , I ran to him and tried to take watch from him but he was not giving it to me and he tried to run out but I hold him tightly
"Give me the watch, its mine."
"How can I trust you?"
"Let's make a deal, give me the watch and I will give you more interesting and useful thing."
"Ok But first shows me that thing."
"Look this gadget, anything read, listen and seen by this is on your head you will remember each and every word even the semicolons too, very helpful in your studies."
"I hate study, science make this earth a litterbins."
"Ok as you want" and I trickily took my watch and put that boy down.
"You cheater, give me back otherwise I will told this to my father Mr. Chhatarji, he will whopped you." That boy was so much confident, but I was running late and decide to go, and ran for the time machine.
While in return, I was thinking about joint rooted trees, and that little boy. I thought my family back ground was agriculture and how my father started same science study and practices and I got interest in science, by this now I am main scientist of Germination project but not so happy because scientist were always in the power of Business mans and Government. Suddenly I remembered that I left the "Smaranshkati" with that boy, Boss will kill me. How could I?
It was -3, -2, -1 displaying on time machine and 0. I was feeling now 632 year old and very tired and tensed about my Boss reactions.
However, in present my Boss were standing outside the machine and smiling with few other people.
"Yes I found the mechanism of fast grows, we can improve our time and test."
"I know you can do it sir."
"Sir?" I shocked.
"And Congratulations sir you are now father of a very beautiful girl child. And you have to meet them first." My mind was not in my control, is that the traveling effect or real life.
I don't know who those people are, but they took me to the one extraordinary house and there was she my dream girl = lying in bed with a baby said to me "Honey how was your journey."
She went up and hugs and kissed me "So you went for the studies of changing human's life, and here your own life changed, you are father now, Head Governor"
I pinched myself this is really a dream or I landed in one parallel universe, I didn't change anything but yes "Smaranshkati ", this is the reason, but this change was so good I was So much happy and shocked too.
"Honey, are you ok?"
"No, not really" and my eyes go on the wall where my and this pretty lady wedding pictures were moving. I was looking much handsome then before.
"Can I change the album?"
"Of course dear"
"My first school day "I said and the picture is came, I was with my father but school was different. I saw some more pictures, but I didn't recognize many faces.
"Who is that lady, had so many pictures with me "I asked.
"Why not, each mother wants to click their pictures with her son"
This is a heart attack, where is my mom my...I thought and was about to cry.
“What is my name?” I ran and was finding my name anywhere in my new house. There it was, thank God this was same .I went alone in a room and searched my whole history I was rich from the birth, my father too and grand paa too. My entire family are rich, Powerful, Intelligent and very sharp minded.
“What to do now?” Should I use time machine and change the whole thing like before, I want my mother back she is the best mother in whole universe. She supported me a lot in my life, or accept these changes. Now I have everything what I want girl, power, money, I am more handsome now but not my mother. I had to choose .I thought over the night alone in room, and come out with conclusion as a government order.
"In my last Time travel I learned very important lesson that time travel can cause very macabre effect on our present due to this I am ordering army to distorting Time Machine and banning all the Time Travels in the world, because I don't want to change the seeds of our beautiful present."
